Blown Away by Competitive Crabbing in Hampshire
My family and I were clueless crabbers until Saturday June 18th, when we headed to Hampshire amid gales and driving rain to the River Hamble’s Annual Crabbing Competition, 2011.

Each year from 1982 to 2010 in the delightful coastal village of Walberswick in Suffolk, The British Open Crabbing Championship is held. Great fun for children of all ages (nobody born before 1890 may enter!). The event raises funds for local, county and sea-related charities and good causes.
